The Brake Authority 4055 brake pads are designed for Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, including XTR M985 (2011–2017) and selected SLX / XT models (2012–2017). Engineered to deliver strong, progressive, and consistent braking, they’re ideal for demanding MTB riding such as XC, All-Mountain and Enduro, all while preserving rotor lifespan.
The Burly version (4055B) uses a sintered metal compound that offers an excellent balance between braking power, durability, and rotor friendliness. Featuring NoNitech® technology, these pads are nickel-free, making them safer and more environmentally responsible. They come pre-bedded, ready to install straight out of the package.
Made in France, they embody Brake Authority’s expertise and commitment to performance and sustainability.
