Brake Authority reference 4045 disc brake pads are designed to be assembled in Avid code calipers. Their metal material allows them to be used in all conditions: in mud, dust, rain, etc. For optimal operation, we recommend using them with Avid brake discs.

The assembly of these MTB brake pads requires a set of allen wrenches.

Avid code brake pads replacement methodology:

• Clean the brake caliper with soapy water without pressure
• unscrew the caliper fixing screws and remove it from the disc
• Push back the piston
• Remove the brake pads
• Put and clip the Brake Authority reference 4045 brake pads into the caliper
• Put the brake caliper on the disc and on its fixture
• Torque tighten the caliper mounting bolts
