This ITM stem is designed to be use on a road bike.

Compatibility of this ITM stem :

This ITM stem is designed to be assembled on a smooth 1-1 / 8" diameter fork steerer tube, an aheadset standard headset and a road bike handlebar with a fixing diameter is 25.4 mm.

Maintenance of this ITM stem :

We recommend regular cleaning with soapy water of this ITM Millenium stem in order to remove traces of dust, mud and other pollutants. Regular checking of the screw tightening torque is also recommended.
In the event of a fall, a visual inspection is necessary in order to detect cracks or abnormal deformation, in which case the stem must be replaced. Following a fall, the tightening of the screws must also be checked.

Assembly of this ITM stem :

The assembly of this ITM stem requires a set of allen wrench and ideally a torque wrench in order to apply the tightening torque corresponding to the diameter of the screws. A shim for adjusting the fixing diameter with the fork steerer is supplied, grease or oil must not be applied between this shim and the fork steerer and between the cleat and the ITM stem, the assembly must be done in direct contact between these items.
