Mach 1 is a French brand specializing in the design and manufacture of radiating machines, rims, spokes and spoke heads.

Mach 1 presentation :

In 1937, creation of the company "Rayons Bernard" which manufactures spokes and spoke heads used in the assembly of bicycle wheels.

It was in the 70s that began the activity of industrializing machines to radiate semi-automatic bicycle wheels.

In 1987, Maurice Chanaux bought "Rayons Bernard"

In 1992, "Rayons Bernard" was renamed Mach 1.

Mach 1 opened an 8000 m² factory in Saint Etienne in 1994.

The production of single wall rims began in 1996.

In 1997 a new components division was created, called MACH 1 components, in order to offer rims, spokes and spoke heads.

In 1999, Mach 1 industrialized double wall rims.

Mach 1 enlarged its Saint Etienne factory in 2013 to reach 10,000 m².

Mach 1 offers complete solutions for the racking of wheels but also the possibility of customizing machines to optimize efficiency, production or adapt to new technical assembly constraints such as carbon rims.

The Mach 1 design office is located in France, the engineers work on innovations for wheels composants or machines tools and specifications coming from customers.

Mach 1 generates more than 60% of its turnover from exports, by offering its products and solutions all over the world.

Mach 1 represents 15 % of the European rim market and 20% for spokes and spoke heads, its competitors are Rodi, Rigida, Mavic and Sapim.
