It is designed for a frame head tube and a straight headset, a stem with a fixing diameter of 1 "1/8 (28.6 mm) and a front wheel diameter 700 mm.
Mounting of this road bike carbon fork :
The assembly of this road bike carbon fork requires a set of allen keys.
Methodology:
- Place the bike on a fixed support such as a workshop stand
- Remove the front wheel
- Unscrew and remove the front brake
- Release and remove the stem cover
- Unscrew the stem fixing screws on the fork tube
- Remove the headset
- Degrease the headset cups
- Grease the cups and each headset bearing
- Put the bearings in the cups
- Put the fork in the frame tube
- Assemble the headset rings
- Put the stem and tighten its fixing points by hand
- Place and then screw the stem cap by hand
- Put the front brake and torque its fixing screw
- Place the wheel then tighten its fixing on the carbon fork
- Put the bike on the ground
- Adjust the headset
- Move the stem in order to have it axis with the wheel one aligned
- Torque tighten the stem attachment on the fork tube (be careful to respect the value of the tightening torque of the stem fixing screws so as not to crack the carbon fork tube).

We advise you to regularly clean your road bike carbon fork and its peripherals with soapy water without pressure in order to remove the dust and traces of grease. There are polishers and polishes to improve the shine of the varnish. It is also necessary to periodically adjust the headset setting as too much movement could damage the road bike carbon fork tube. The value of the tightening torque for the front brake caliper must be respected to avoid damaging its mounting bracket.
