The installation of this racing bike handlebar tape does not require specific tools but to obtain a good finish, it is necessary to be rigorous. So that the direction of installation of this handlebar tape corresponds to its use, it must be installed from each end of the handlebar tube and go up towards the stem.
After removing the old handlebar tape, it may be necessary to remove excess glue from the handlebar using acetone. If the glue is smooth and uniform, we recommend that you do not remove it in order to improve the adhesion with the new bicycle handlebar tape.
Methodology:
- remove the caps
- Unroll the tape and remove the finishing tapes
- remove excess glue from the handlebar if necessary
- Put the finishing tapes of this racing bike handlebar tape behind the brake levers
- Roll the handlebar tape starting from the ends of the handlebar and working your way up towards the stem
- put the caps at each end of the handlebar
