The Brake Authority 4009 type B MTB disc brake pads have a sintered metal lining, they are designed to be assembled into a mechanical RST brake caliper.
Mounting of these MTB disc brake pads:
Assembly of these Brake Authority pads requires a set of allen keys.
Methodology:
- unscrew the brake caliper and remove it from the disc and its mounting on the frame or on the fork
- Push the pistons back into the caliper
- Replace the brake pads with the Brake Authority 4009 type B
- Put the caliper on the brake disc and its mounting
- Replace the screws on the fixing and tighten them to torque.
