This MTB fork is designed to be assembled on an MTB for touring use. It is intended to improve the comfort of the user of the bike, it is not adjustable or lockable.
Compatibility of this MTB fork 24 :
The MTB fork RST 154 fork is compatible with a 24 inch diameter wheel, a V-brake or cantilever type pivot brake. Its tube is 120 mm long, it is threaded 45 mm, its diameter is 1 inch (25.4 mm), it is designed for a 1 inch screw-in headset and a 22.2 diameter pivot stem.

The assembly of this MTB fork RST requires a confirmed technical level. Two open ended wrenches are required for assembly and adjustment of the headset and an allen key for assembly and adjustment of the brake.
Assembly methodology of this MTB fork 24 :
- remove the front wheel
- unscrew the screws of the brake pins and remove the brake
- unscrew and remove the stem
- unscrew and remove the headset
- remove the fork
- put the fork
- reassemble the headset and hand tighten the nuts
- put, adjust and tighten the stem
- put and fix the brake
- replace and secure the wheel
- headset adjustment

A MTB fork must be changed when one of its constituent parts is broken, if it remains stuck in position, if it no longer goes up or if it has abnormal movement.
